According to the design of the casting, polystyrene foam (EPS) is used to create a foam mold, usually by thermal or mechanical processing.

Clay, refractory or paint is evenly applied to the surface of the foam mold to form a protective layer. This layer helps to improve the surface quality and dimensional accuracy of the castings.

After the coating has dried, multiple foam molds are assembled into a casting system to form a single mold structure.

Heating metal to melt it, usually using aluminum, iron or other alloys. The molten metal is poured into the mold and the heat vaporizes the foam mold while the refractory coating maintains the shape of the casting.

The casting cools in the mold and the liquid metal solidifies. (Cooling and curing times vary depending on the type of alloy and thickness of the casting).

Necessary post-treatment of castings, such as heat treatment, machining, surface treatment, etc., to meet the design and use requirements.

Upon completion of processing, conducts thorough inspection of the final product to ensure that it meets the customer's requirements and specifications. Record inspection results and file necessary documents.

EATHU cleans and packages qualified castings for shipment. You can choose foam, carton, wooden box and other packaging. And we will record the production and inspection data for future traceability and improvement.
