Brake discs, also known as brake rotors, are a key component in the braking system of automobiles. Since its invention in the 19 century, it’s still relied on today. As automobiles have undergone huge transformation now, so have the brake discs.
EATHU has played a role in such transformations. For years, we’ve been working with some of the known players in the field, have undertaken projects from all over the world.
BRAKE DISC MOlD DEVELOPMENT
A metal casting project usually begins with a mold development during which important factors will be taken into consideration. Our experienced technical team will select the appropriate casting method based on your drawings and work out a better solution to ensure quality while reducing costs and improving production efficiency.
BRAKE DISC CASTING
EATHU is proud of being a brake disc manufacturer to have a production process that covers every step of brake disc manufacturing. Equipped with several advanced wax pattern making machines, shell making lines and casting lines, we are able to handle projects of virtually any sizes.
With our highly optimized supply chain, which greatly reduces extra costs, we make brake discs both cost-effective and high-quality, which is part of the reason that our partners choose us for their projects.
BRAKE DISC MACHINING & SURFACE TREATMENTS
Over the years, EATHU has invested heavily into the improvement of the machining process. The result of such improvements is significantly accurate and smooth surface finish.
After the machining is finished, here come the final surface treatment and quality control. Each type of brake discs might require special coating for their anti-corrosion performance. On top of that, our quality control inspections and testing ensure that every finished product is of high quality and has its intended performance.
QUALITY INSPECTION PROCESS
We carry out four-stage inspections: Pre-Production Inspection, During Production Inspection, Pre-Shipment Inspection, and Container Loading/Unloading Inspections.
Before the production begins, pre-production inspection is in place to make sure that the quantity and quality of the raw materials meet the standards; during the production, each batch of products will be closely examined and tested so that any deviations can be identified. Before the products can be shipped to our clients, pre-shipment inspection, and container loading/unloading inspections are also carried out.
